Quick pre storm session

Got out for a bit on a small lake that is always one of the first to freeze in SE Ont. Consistent action, mostly dink perch but a few decent ones too. Got a pike that was cruising 20 ft off bottom, good fight on panfish gear. Had to keep moving to get away from the oos bass that were aggressive today. Awesome to get back on the ice again and good way to kick off the season.

Great outing, suspended fish in my experience are on the feed, love watching marks like your pike appear mid watercolumn ….reel up and BANG! Fish on!
