Hey guys
I know I don't post here much, seems like this site gets thrown to the way side until it's ice fishing season. I live down in the Des Moines area and am headed north this weekend for Christmas.
Curious to see if anyone has ice condition reports on Smith Lake or Oak Lake (I know Oak Lake is private, but I have access to it). My assumption is that since it is north of 18, it should have similar ice conditions to that of Spirit/Clear Lake, however, since I am not there, I haven't a clue.
Given, I can drive to either place, and probably will if I have to. Darn it, I need some ice fishin'!
