Severe Overflow Danger At Crosswind Lake
« on: Dec 09, 2017, 09:32 PM »
Just got a text from a good friend who owns a cabin out at Crosswind Lake. He told me he is stuck and he is going to have to wait to get out. He got his machine stuck really bad last Tuesday and managed to get it out the next day, but he told me that he thinks the whole lake has got overflow really bad and most of the shoreline is wet. His cabin is about 3 miles from the trail so he is going to have to wait for cooler temperatures. They got dumped with a boatload of snow this week. I'm guessing all the lakes (Louise, Susitna, Tyone, Paxson etc.) out there are probably in the same situation. Just use caution and bring a friend.

I also have a cabin at Crosswind. But I haven't out yet. Who is your friend? Maybe I know him.

I believe I met him about 10 years a go when I first bought my place.
