WHEELER'S be safe
« on: Feb 02, 2015, 07:50 AM »
Took the 4-wheeler out sat. to cover more lake there had been 10+" of ice, I was on maxi had been at the ramp, mid lake n. end, west side n. and s. still 10 or better hit the south east side far south. set up the shack next to the quad and all the junk I pulled out. fired up the auger zip right through 5 1/2" well you might think 5 1/2" is ok put 14" of heavy snow on top ?  NOT saying stay off just beware stay alive
fishing is hard can I go home now

Thanks for the update Brad.  I like 8" to feel safe and that's with no snow.

I was on maxi A few weeks ago with my side-by-side. We had 9.5 all over  and drilled over by the kettle you know where that is and had barely 3.5 I took the same path back to the ramp

Wow!!!!  all i can say is wow. Having flashbacks of the championship two yrs. ago 8 inches of snow with 4-6 in of slush   I was standing in 4 in of water today ,but the more traffic the more areas will get opened up to freeze solid..
