New guy on Crooked-Steuben Co.

I haven't ice fished for several years...looking to get back into it, and do it right.
Recently laid off so I have a lot of time.
Looking to fish up here on Crooked, or James, Lake George,  Mongo area, etc.
I have an auger and a pole, that's about it, and good clothes (snowmobiler).

I'm on third basin on crooked. I do happen to have access to Pleasant lake.
It's just barely in Michigan, just north of Lake George.
It's about the size of Lime lake maybe, and really deep..stocked.
Maybe one of you pros would like to check it out sometime with me and show me how to catch some fish and not waste as much time..
It doesn't have an public access so it's not as heavily fished..I Know a farmer with land on it so I have access.

Hey John, I'm a new guy as of tonight also and lovin it. Not sure if this will even come thru or not. I live 2 miles west of Orland on the Fawn river (first bridge).Heard their getting a few nice gills at Adams may try that tomorrow. Maybe see ya round.  Chickpod

I live the first bridge west of Orland on the Fawn river. Will be checking out Clear Lake at the marina in the morning or going to Adams, a friend hit Adams today and got a few good gills.
