Legend Ice Rods has a new look this year

The rods are going to have a reel seat. I guess there are to many icefisher people that don't know how to use tape. Here's a pic of the new rods.

A nice change!...for those that like taping their expensive reels on....I guess they still have an option...nothing worse than having a properly and tightly taped reel work loose with a nice fish on....Grump

bhorn, what site did you find the picture of the new rods?  I looked at St.Croix, but didn't see it.

I am not a fan of reel seats so I just purchased the deal they have at Reeds for the last year model Legends, these 3 rods for the price of 2 and free shipping

I wonder if the price will be any better this year, that $50 really hurt the wallet, I was just about to pick-up a couple avids for some reels I bought this summer, but maybe I wqill wait and see if the price is right on the legends
