Does anyone use one with a K-Drill? How does the battery do in the cold?

ridgid makes several sized batteries from 1.5 amp to 6 amp. they make brushless and brushed drills. their strongest is a brushed drill of 780 inch pounds.
i don't have a k drill so i can't help with your specific question. with lazer drills i get plenty of holes per charge on a 780 inch pound brushed drill and 4 amp battery. about 40-50 holes in ice around 10 to 15 inches thick with a 6" bit.

strikemaster lazers are also very aggressive cutting angle and harder on the drill like the k drill supposedly is. i reopen old holes with my lazer augers.

ridgid is supposed to be letting out their 9 amp battery and a 1300 inch pound brushless drill. batteries not sold in a kit are excluded from their lsa.
