Fiberglass vs Graphite
« on: Dec 29, 2005, 03:45 PM »
Which do you think is better in terms of sensitivity and durability?  I was never sure.  The only fiberglass rod I have is an old 6' Shakespeare Wonderglass rod, which I've always liked.  What do you think?

sensitivity- if you want to feel the bite graphite
if you want to see the bite a thin fiberglass

durability- fiberglass it will bend a lot farther before it breaks
graphite can be a little brittle
