Does anybody have any info or tips on fishing Wallum Lake in Douglas? Or possibly an ice report? Thinking of making the trip there tomorrow with my uncle. Never fished it.
-
I fish it alot..I use nightcrawlers about 2-3 ft under the ice..I fish shallow about 6ft at the most...I've had a great year there so far
-
Any luck on wallum? I fished it once in the fall didnt do to well there. Always wondered about fishing through the ice though.
-
Jigged up about 40 perch today
-
Jigging nightcrawlers for perch? Any luck (or did you try) for salmon/trout using tip-ups?
-
Anybody smelt fish it? You can PM me.

I could be dead wrong, but I think the smelts are long gone. The states stocked alewives as a forage fish and they are doing quite well...
Had a good day there yesterday, today not so much!
