You can not take too many perch, unless you can not clean them, give them to your friends and neighbors to clean and cook. The more perch you take, the faster and bigger the rest  will grow. The walleyes and bass will survive from fry to fingerlings.

Seems stupid to spill gas and oil in the lake and make a dangerous hole for no reason. Is there a point to it.

I'm confused...
"As I grow older, I've come to suspect that I have got it backwards, and that life, at its best, is a metaphor for fishing and writing. Or perhaps neither side of any metaphor is finally dominant, the one inextricably tied to its contrasting likeness, no longer merely a point of comparison but yoked in a new existence to its other self."

A demonstration of a floatation device to save lives and ATV machines that go through the ice.

The thinner the ice, the more anxious is everyone to see whether it will bear.

Except how many machines fall cleanly into large areas of water?
Most fall through smaller holes and cracks.  If you're stuck in a smaller hole do you want that airbag blowing up possibly pinning you in or hindering your exit?
Worry about self first wear safety gear for you. Machine 2nd
