Depends, if im just out in the clam, chips candy and sandwiches suffice.  If im in the wheelhouse, I make some gourmet meals!  Having a gas stove is awesome!

the ultimate in snackin anywhere: my favorite- chili cheese fritos!
why are those things so dang good when the temp starts dropping??  I can go all year with out acknowledging that the store even carries them, but once it snows I can't walk by them with out grabbing a bag.

I always pack chew, mt.dew, chew, jerky, chew, chips, chew, cookies, chew, granola bars, chew, Gatorade or water, chew, hot dogs(cooked on a fabbed rack over my Coleman lantern) and an extra tin of chew just in case.  I have had the chili cheese Frito's, but they don't hold a candle to the honey barbecue spirals. (also Frito's).  Guy I would love to ice fish with...  the guy that posted he would only pack Guinness and Jerky.  Guy I would hesitate to fish with...  the guy who posted he would pack those pickled polish sausages.  Most shanty's don't vent well!!!!

Beer, captain morgan, smokes, chew, sunflower seeds, cold cheese curds, some sort of jerky, kipper snacks with chicken in a biskit crackers, and pickeled herring. And if I am really ambitious I bust out some elk or venni steaks and brats (johnsonville stadiums) or heat up some chili
How many times do I gotta go through holes before I watch where I'm going? I am an amateur fisherman, but an all star minnow drowner!

My menu varies.  Sometimes it is just a ham or turkey sandwhich and some banannas if Im alone.  Other times it is just beer and maybe some jerky.  On real cold days I stop in at a bar on the lake for a burger and to warm back up some.  On the all weekend trips its brats, bbq pork chops for the coleman grill and some bacon and eggs, etc for the stove.

i usually don't snack alot on the ice. usually a sandwich washed down by some sort of frosty cold beverage, followed by a big healthy pinch of skoal mint.
