Any other fishing ladies out there?
« on: Jan 10, 2007, 12:13 PM »
Just wondering if there are any other ladies on this site, or have I really walked into the "Mens" room?

The Nymph has no ice fishing knowledge, so she reads a lot and stays in the shanty.  This will be my first year ice fishing if Michigan ever gets ice.  No hiding behind the truck either, but I don't stand up, I wouldn't want the guys to be jealous ;D

Also, Nymph, I do hope that you get ice.  I have friends in Wisconsin...same problem.  And if they get
ice....hope you really get into the fishing.  I do take a book along, or knitting, myself, but only
when fishing is slow.  This year I have outfished Sweetie....my biggest laker was almost 14 lbs.
That's how to make them jealous!!

If they're willing to do it in front of me... ;)  That would be a little awkward if there were other people around... :)
I'm not really too sure why Slime wants me to go, everytime he takes me during the summer, he ends up skunked... ;D

Where in Wisconsin?
In Dodgeville...and when I razzed my brother-in-law at Christmas he
reminded me that a) my sister didn't get the fishing gene from my Dad
and b) he doesn't have anyone to go out with...

Hey, thanks for the post.  I have been ice fishing for years, and fishing most of my life.
And..it must be really a shock not to have ice this year.  Is there any there at all?  We have tons
of ice...I am housebound today because of an intense blizzard that blew through.  It is clearning
a bit, but we still have 40 kmh winds, chill factor is -37.  Hope it is better for tomorrow.

What do you like to fish for?  Where are your lakes?

With all the ladies on the board and in the shantys, there should be no reason why us guys should have to open beer and clean fish anymore!
