I'm married...although during bow season, shotgun season, the late bow season, anytime there is ice on the lake, or when fish are biting on the soft water....my wife is pretty much a widow.  Not sure if that qualifies and single or not

I was married for 10 years  We didn't get along too well and I thought I was the one with the issues until I saw what was going on from afar. I tend to be a simpleton and see things in a black/white nature which probably didn't help matters. I have 2 children, a 7 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. I also have a GF who I have been with for 5 years now and she is wonderful. She works, I fish. I cook. She eats the fish. What more could I want? Another marriage?  If I was going to go through that again it would without a doubt be with my current GF.

Single- have a G/F. She complains about my fishing, but I go anyway!

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, because I suspect that men are going along this way for the last time, and I  don't want to waste the trip; maybe one day I will catch a mermaid; and finally, not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so m

Single, but only until August of next year. She complains every now and then about my fishing, but I think once she lives with me, she might get sick enough of me to be glad to see me go fishing. :P
have been married for 15yrs. have 2 beautiful children. wife lets me ice fish and hunt all season .as long as my jobs are done on the honey due list. ;)

Divorce in progress after 22 months of marriage. Seems I was only needed as a sperm donor and payor of child support for the next 21 years. Wife left with our 3 week old twins in July. I am more fortunate than some since I fought for and received frequent visitation with my cuties ( a boy and a girl ). I don't regret the making of the kids for 1 second as I adore them. It's too bad though that men need women to make them. The peace and quiet I now have at home is a welcome relief from the constant psychotic ranting of the ex.

I'm as married as a guy can get! Probably still qualified as p---y whipped even after five + years. My wife loves fishing and the outdoors as much as I do. It don't get any better than that!

Married 35 years. 2 kids....3 grandkids. One kid is a fishin fool. He even takes his dad along now and then. Except he didn't today, that's why i'm here writing posts. Wife had problems years ago how often I went fishing. I slowed down a little and hang around the house. Now it's, "aren't you going to go fishing". It is a real blast taking those kids out.

Happily married with two great kids!  The wife won't ice fish, but she sure loves fishing the open water. The kids.................l ove both the hard and open water!  The only time I get heat about ice fishing is when I pull the kids from school.  Heck, I only do it maybe 6 times a year (or is it more? ;).

Married ,will be 24 years on the 28th . 3 kids ( all adults now ) 21,22,23 .  Only the 22 y.o. does any fishing with the old man , as he puts it.   2 (adopted i guess) grandsons . he's engaged to their mother and 1 in the oven.  The wife agreed lately to start going out summer fishing with me again , haven't done that in almost 20 yrs now , but i'll never get her on the ice , she hates the cold !!!

I think I'm the luckiest guy out there, my wife gets pi**ed off when I fish without her; she's up at the crack of dawn gettin the ice stuff ready and believe it or not she's one hell of a fisherwoman!  She always outfishes me on the ice and on the salt water.  She caught the heaviest fluke in 2002 weighed in by a woman; got the governors silver cup and her picture on the 2003 fishing guide.  She's a keeper for sure; any woman who can outfish me is ok in my book!

Married 10 years, 5 year old daughter, 2 1/2 year old son.  I usually get out once a weekend, hopefully more once the kids get a little older.  For now I won't press my luck.
