This weather sucks!

This humidity is horrible! Wishing to a early and LONG Winter. Already starting to stock up for this season, once 2inches of ice comes in Northern Illinois, im gone! ;)

Well hopefully the guy in this article knows what he's talking about! But we all know how weather predictions go, let alone predicting two or three years down the road ;D
I'm just hoping we get a longer winter than last year with safer ice this year.

I used to love the heat, now not so much. It's times like these that I wouldn't mind a vacation to Antarctica!

Yeah  seen 89 yesterday :P I do not remember it getting this hot up here. My wife and I were talking and I believe it was 2002 we had a hard freeze on the 4th of july. Did not get crap for snow last winter. Had lots of ice as always though ;D  Well it is July, So year is half over. We usually get a frost in september and always october. So cooler weather is not too far away. Stay cool guys    Steve

I was gonna take my almost 4 yr old son fishing in the boat Friday but with mid day temps here over 100 I decided it would have been too much for him (me too)

This stuff is crazy...we've already had 2 weeks of it in the 90's...this dewpoint is killer, when a dewpoint of above 70 is considered tropical, and we were at 74 yesterday... :o
Lived here a long time (too long!) but I've never seen it quite like this, especially after a warm no-ice winter here, in the SE part, anyway. I'd even switch my beer to
 Nude Beach, and move to Steven's Point (been there, done that) if I could be guaranteed to stay cool.... ::) :woot:
PS... I will NOT wear a cheese wedge for a hat... ;D

@Rebelss, you know it! 2inches of ice held me (150lbs.) and 2 of my other buddies who ranged from 115-160lbs. and this is on a pond. Good memories though....not including the big fish  ;)

Been working on rooftop a/c units.......all we can do is hit them with cold water to cool them down. Damn, I want to sit in my shanty with the wind blowing right now!

   Mother nature just finished kicking up her heels here, our 80' Ash tree is flat on the lawn ! It was raining sideways and booming and blowing a gale here for 45 minutes !! Lots of heavy lightning and the fire engine sirens have been steady ! Public service trucks are out trying to get limbs off the lines, Powers still out, generator is paying for itself now !  :thumbsup:
  By the looks of the NOAA radar, its gonna be a long night, oh well we need the rain, ya gotta love a good Thunder Boomer ! ;)2

Yep we seem to be getting pounded with thunderstorms too. Tuesday afternoon I had a doctor appointment in ishpeming. Seen 98 on bank thermometer at 3 p.m, Even 100 when I came out of doctors office at 3;45. Unbeleivable. Lost power at 7 last night to bad storm. Wind was awful and hailed like crazy. Supposed to be in upper 90's again today. Son and girlfriend went to squaw lake yesterday (too hot for me) and caught a whole 2 fish. Said water is "bathwater warm". The humidity just sucks the life right out of me.  May have to relocate to Alaska if this keeps up.   Steve

Thanks Rick, we are better off then the folks 1/2 mile down the road. They lost 2 homes and over a dozen vehicles, a big grove of 120' pines got either a tornado or a micro burst and it laid over the whole grove, 20 some odd trees ! One elderly couple got trapped in their bedroom, but nobody got hurt, Thank God !
  Had to hold off on the 4TH BBQ cause of Ma Natures tantrum, but the Beef Brisket is on the smoker as we speak and its Gonna Be Goooooood !!!!  ;)2 :thumbsup:

no rain here in Milwaukee,Wisconsin but we really need it. 11:40 am and it is 100 degrees with a heat index of 115. absolutely brutal weather. this stuff is no joke. people can die. stay cool everybody
