Strike lite auger  450

Being one of the original Iceland Ghetto members I thought I had finally reached the point that I had enough gear, seeing that my sons buy there own stuff now . ::) But I am baby sitting my 3 year old grandson right now, and It started me thinking (some people say that has never happend ) that his dad don't fish and soon he just might want some stuff . What do you think ?

I think if you are going to get other people interested in the sport you need plenty of gear for all to use. If you are going to target  Walleyes you dont use an ultalight panfish rod so you need the gear to fit the fish and the lake or pond.

AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED,THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TO MUCH GEAR!!! NEVER ENOUGH! BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE AT THE STORE THINKING ABOUT BUYING SOMETHING FOR FISHING AND YOU DON'T, AND GO FISHING YOU WILL NEED WHATEVER IT WAS AT THE STORE THAT YOU WHERE THINKING OF BUYING. THAT'S WHY IF I HAVE THE MONEY I BUY IT,THAT WAY I HAVE IT WHEN I NEED IT!!!

I was working down in my shop one evening and my mom and dad showed up for a visit.  As I was working, dad suddenly says "what the h**l do you need 56 fishing rods for.  I had to explain to him that a couple belong to my brother, 3 belong to my oldest son, 4 belong to my youngest, and 2 belong to my wife. They aren't all mine.  Now I have gotten back into ice fishing after 20 years away from it and now have all that stuff.  We also own 3 boats, 3 inflatable kayaks, and now I am building 3 traditional skin-on-frame kayaks.  Needless to say my family spends some serious time on the water.  We could open a boat and tackle shop with what is in our garage, and cover everthing from fly fishing to ice fishing, panfish to muskies.  Sometimes I think I have gone a little overboard, but as long as I/we are using it, its not too much.  HE WHO DIES WITH THE MOST TOYS WINS!    :tipup:Have a great day and keep on fishing!
