MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
With this lousy winter we're havin so far, and all of us jonesin with no fishable ice to be found so far. Figured some of us would appreciate an icefishing song. ......I know!,....the song is about Minnesota. But, they're probably fishin somewhere out there. Plus, at least their local media seems to embrace winter.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LTNd7xLp40

I'm from Southern PA, but was born and raised on a farm, so I am country. Here's a couple I did with some friends at a block party last fall. One by Hank Williams Senior and of course CCR. I'm playing harp and doing the singing. This is all unrehearsed though the guy who has Zappa hair plays in my band.
Thanks Bernie, a lot better sound in a club or bar; but we got fed and a little money so....Miss fishing the shallows at Shohola with you; guess even if there was ice it would be a new ball game this year with the draw down.
Mighty fine Salmonrebel...mighty fine "Family Tradition" was the theme song for my old softball team many moon ago
Thanks salmonrebel, I try to play from the heart. Speaking of "Family Tradition" , my youngest brother was a professional musician who passed on way to soon. (29) I once watched him completely quiet a packed, noisy, bar on a Fri night, with a version of "All my Rowdy Friends have settled Down." I still think of that sometimes when I need to draw on my inner strength; I think his spirit is always with me, especially when I'm on stage. The last trip we took out West together (1991) I dragged him out on high mountain lake outside of Leadville CO. He had never ice fished before, and I still have a picture of him on my desk; he's proudly holding up a small lake trout. He also performed at a local pub at the base of Copper Mountain, and later we went to a after hours party (B' lift Pub) that was pretty much all locals and us. Those were the days all right...........
..I was gonna put this in the moon lake thread, but it may be more appropriate here!
