i would wait a tad cause if it the ice is not thick. spud it out. i would be very carefull cause you can not see ware your waking that well. sep on a soft spring spot and threw the ice you go. that is why i am wainting a tad.maybe it will be jan first before i go check will see. from south east michigan.

It's blowing too much and I haven't been out on the roads. I can't really tell. I'd guess a couple inches atleast. Definitely not as much as you.

8 inches of snow in the milford michigan area and about 28*f last i looked the major part of the snow was going north east accross the state from ann arbor area and i got slamed. while i shoveld the drive a little and seen a ambelance drive by dad said that there was a car crash at the end of the road and cops and ambulances were there. any ways carfull on the lake the next couple of days carry some thing to help you get off the ice and back to the car to wram up. some thing like ice picks the handle and nail type lol's. any ways wish you guy luck i may go check a shallow beach area tomrrow. before i head out to do it for sure. that is only inches deep all the way 20 foot off shore. before i end out having walk on water running back to the car. lol's frezeeing my buns off. btw i looked at it two day ago and there was ice accross the whole lake so will see if it is frozen yet or not tomrrow...
