With this recent cover of snow open pressure ridges are not visible  until its too late  Swimming this time of year is not fun!!

I was out there today it was a little never racking riding out on my sled . I only had one fish on and lost it . I believe they were retrieving one of the utvs that went through the pressure ridge near Indian Island today.

When the wind shifts the ridges open and skim over and it looks safe until you are going down. they can close and open in minutes . with light snow over them it all looks the same

Ice and Bass, if you get out during the week, let us know what conditions were like. I'll be staying in camp on the east side of Jordan Bay this weekend.
