How's the ice from the Faribault Lakes region to the Mississippi?

I have a brother coming from GA next week, hoping to safely get on the ice......

The ice around the Faribault area is just fine But it is supposed to ran tonight I hope not But we have 6-8 inches. No driving on the ice.

It is soppused to rain tonight if it is going to then it is supposed to get colder I hope.

we drove out on mazaska and there is about 13-15 inches of ice. we drove about a mile and back 4 times. good ice. pullin the house off tonight fishin is crappy. but that is good ice. mostly clear ice but top 4-5 inches is white. good luck bud.
