Layers of wool. Should have known. Wool is still the warmest. I have to see if mine are the Bata boots. I have the black boots and I can not believe the whites are warmer. You would not think you can get any warmer.

Everyone talks about Sorels and such, but I've never had anything warmer than mil surplus micky mouse boots.
