I haven't checked it personally but I'd assume it's not good at all. I live a little bit west of there and I checked a couple ponds today. All required a plank to reach 3-4 inches of really poor quality ice and it's currently 42 degrees.

Most of what I've seen has 1"-2" of ice. A few small coves have 4"-6". But the edges are sketchy.

Great Lake to fish and it’s to bad that there hasn’t been any decent ice the last few years. Been trying to get onto a few spots but just not enough ice to get to them. We’ll see what happens.

Worked in that area today and was surprised how much evidence of recent activity I saw on area ponds.  There is definitely fishable ice in south central Mass if you get off your couch, away from your phone or computer, and check conditions for yourself. Some of the ponds I drove by today that had signs of activity are phenomenal largemouth and panfish ponds.
