Finally hit the ice

Been tough juggling the schedule with my wife caring for an sick family member but I took the day off yesterday to hit the ice with a couple other GODS for the first trip this year. Hit what use to be a local hot spot for 1st ice but the last couple years not so much. I think the weed treating they did a couple years back affected the fishing for sure. Non the less it was more about the company than the fishing. I managed 3 bass on the day. Some good laughs and a couple belts of Tennessee Honey made for a great day. I didn't take any pictures with my phone but lenz and stealth did. Thanks guys for a good 1st day. Next weekend its time to chase Pike.

I know that spot - good for numbers - not for size. But it’s close early ice. I’ll be trying for pike tomorrow if I can find the ice. Great job getting out! :tipup:
