catching crappies where?

      wondering  where i could locate some crappies around the rochester area...and if i should be tryin day or night?

I f youer in Rochester IN there catching them at Salimonie at the 105 bridge last i new.

Not that I have good advice, but, adding IN, now I know of 3 Rochesters - NY and MN...narrowing it down might help.
