Crappie Jigs

does anybody know what the name of those jigs you can purchase at small local bait shops like suttons or the place down near silver lake and when the place in honeoye was open over there. They come in a a small plastic vile and some come in glow colors. just wondering cause its a pain trying to explain what im using to a friend without a name lol. any help would be appreciated, thanks
That's a Bluegill, no that's a Sunfish...I've heard it both ways!!

Are they 1 1/2 long and have a jig with plastic body with straight peg style tail? If so I could never fig it out either.
They work great in open water for me. The plastic tube has little cap on the end.

I just bought some last week from my local tackle shop they are called mini-mite jigs by chubby tackle, they are great little jig. you can find them here..http://www.cubbylures.com/

holy crap yes that them thanks man, never could find anybody who knew the name!!!! thanks again, and ironeagle, they work good for me as well, glow ones are amazing through the ice at night as well for crappies, kills them.

They'll work on all pannies but Crappies "usually" like something a little larger like minnows and waxies. Tipped on a larger lure, spoon or Rap type,  they can be dynamite
