I also bought them from a place called colemans which sells military surplus stuff. Not sure about their sizing though.

That may prove hard to find. I really sympathise with people with big feet, long legs, etc.

If you've never wore them before, I would go to a surplus store and try them on.  IMO, they run big.  I usually wear a 12, and an 11 in mickeys is perfect.

The white ones, affectionately known as "bunny boots" by the military, are also rated for colder temps that the black "mickey mouse" boots. Also try searching for "VB boots" which stands for vapor barrier boots which is another term the military uses. I just got rid of my bunny boots in 11W that I had in the Army while stationed in Alaska.

Just make sure that when you buy them, they're made by "BATA"  .
There's other brands out there that aren't the real deal.   Sportsmans guide is known for selling a knock off of the Bata's so stay clear of that place.
I've been wearing Mickeys for 40 years and I've never had a pair that ran big.   You want them to fit a bit loose and there's no need to wear heavy socks or multiple pairs of socks.   A plain pair of cotton or poly socks are all that's necessary.

I got my mickey boots in 2000. Used every winter since then. You will like them. They are a little heavy but warm all the time. They have to be warm before you put them on though. You cant get them warm on your own. I stepped in 10 inch hole few years ago first thing in the am I just dumped the water out and fished all day long no issue with out a sock. Fleet farm has them and they have lots of sizes. Seen them for 40 bucks there before

There a store in Pa. that sells the REAL DEAL military issue,I bought a pair at a sports show for $ 75 (new) 20 years ago. I give them a coat of armor all once a year, there still in great shape. I wear 11 shoes but a size 10 fits great. I thin pair of white cotton sock are all you need.

Yes I did good question. 1 size smaller and mine are black. I heard the white ones are warmer yet but don't know that for sure.

Yes the white ones are rated for use in colder weather. The black boot is rated down to -20 F and is said to have oil/diesel resistant rubber to keep oil or diesel from eating the boot. The white boot is designed for use in extreme cold weather from -20 F colder. The white boot is a little bigger and heavier (~8oz. per boot) than the black boot because of the extra insulation.
