jig rod holders
« on: Nov 28, 2008, 05:31 PM »
I am getting ready to either build or buy some rod holders. Two questions:

1. Anyone have plans for homemade holders?
2. What is the VERY BEST heavy duty store bought holders and where to you get them?

I have loads of rods...my favorites are the Frabill sensity XL's and the reels will be Penn 420ssg,430ssg,260 slammer and my newest to test this year the Okuma Epixor 20. Money is not really an object as long as it reasonable. I am over wimpy, bent, or broken rod holders. I want some that will last me the rest of my days...

Thanks Bozeiceman in Southcoast Massachusetts about to tear up the Smallmouth, trophy pickerel thsi year

If your copying the bottom link from photobucket all you have to do is paste it in the reply box(it will already have the image code attatched). You dont need to use the image box supplied above the reply box.Did that make any sense?lol

I believe you have to use the regular Reply and not the Quick Reply.

I fixed your link.
Open up your previous post and choose the "Modify" option to view what it should look like.
Maybe this will help.

What was wrong with my link? I have tried posting pix both ways: just copy and paste img. link from photobucket and copy/paste/highlight and click image icon at the top here and neither seemed to work.

Your getting extra image codes. It looks like your copy pasting the link from Photobucket and using the image icon at the same time. When if your copy/pasting the bottom Photobucket link you dont use the image icon at all on here.

I posted this one last year. It is still the most reliable rod holder I've used.

Oh Great!
Here and I thought I'd covered all the angles. I guess it's back to the drawing board for me to find a way to make it detachable!   ::)

If you are trying to put an avatar in, you DO NOT need the [img]boxes[img] at each end of the http//:www.link.com. I believe if you copy the top link of the 4 and paste it in the box you should be golden.  If you want to post a picture in a post, click the bottom link of the 4.

Sorry, I should have left the original for you to compare.
It looked like this;

How you got this I don't know ??? I added some spaces in the command lines to get this link to show up.
