« on: Jan 23, 2018, 04:20 AM »

Yesterday morning my Ion ice auger feel from my truck in Thurman so if anyone on IS that lives here and found it I would

Hope it turns up Jeff. Earlier this winter I lost a little backpack that was very valuable to me the same way.

The person who posted that listed their location as Chestertown, so I'm thinking it might not be the Loon south of Wayland, but the one up North of the Saranac River up in the 'daks?

Thanks, I looked back and found the post. I doubt it's mine but I sent him a message just in case. Same general area but a different lake.

I'll keep an eye out. They're small towns up here man.

Well that blows. Chances are if it fell out of your truck it's gonna be in rough shape anyhow but sucks losing gear! My kid lost both of her creepers last week walking of in the snow and I was debating if it would be worth it to backtrack thru the snow to find them. Good luck!

Bummer Ice Wanderer... I am not sure if there are any stores in the town of Thurman, but if there are, maybe you could place some Auger picture fliers in the stores, gas station, bulletin board etc.
and  add" reward" to the poster too,...might help get it returned.
Just thought about some small town Radio stations have a free "Lost and found" segment on weekends,..... mostly pets on ours, but unusual and other stuff lost and found sometimes too.
Check craigs list also...Hope you get it back soon.
My boots on some ice... A line down a hole...Some fish on the screen... And a flag in the air !......Winter is Good !!

Good idea choo choo he can also put flyers up on telephone poles along the route he traveled from the lake. Hopefully someone will see it and he will get it back. Like ice Wanderer said it's a long shot but definitely possible someone that picked it up is a good person and sees the flyer and you get it back
Go big or go home
