Started off at the horne pond derby . Had a great time . NO trout ,
but had a great time out there . Thanks tbtool and all your staff for such a great event .

Today I fish Highland . Got a great start with a bunch of flags . I started drilling holes at 5:30 and didn't get in the shack until 7:30 or so . then the bite for me slowed down . At about 9:30 I went and picked up my son . Then he took over on the catching . My traps died and his took of with a bunch of bass pickerel and white perch . By the end of the day we had about 12 people out at the shack . Had a great time all day

This was the bunch I picked up by 7:30

OK SLAMON ? BROWNS

?

Then my son took over

Then its time to pick up and go home

Nice looking fish. Top is a brown. bottom is a salmon.

Nice fish. Got to love it when you bring the kid out and they do better than you. Nothing better than a big smile on their face.

we let them put there soda in beer cans . Makes them feel like big girls .

stop by any time . We are out there on the weekend mostly . Work all week . Our shack is the one behind my son in pic 4 .

I got to get down sometime to see ya down there . My brother said he stopped by with my son on a trip around the lake . Feel free to stop by our shack if you get down the south end .

As far as browns or salmon go I was thinking the bigger one was a brown and the smaller one was a salmon . I checked the dental work and going by the fish id guide in the Maine law book they are both browns

I'm not to sure .
Both were taken from the same hole back to back . I caught the bigger one and then while I was resetting the trap the second one took the bait before I could get the trap back in the hole .

I also had another weird thing happened to me . My brother was setting his traps and I was getting perch flags . He had the bait so I just set them back with no bait until I could get the bucket and come back and rebait them . I got back in the shack to warm my hands for a bit before rebaiting and one of the baitless traps had a flag ? went to check it out and the line was running off it . set the hook and landed a perch on a baitless red hook lol . I guess I'm sold on the red hooks ..

gasblaster, i had that happen to me on the north end last weekend, got into a mess of um, and every time i put it back down there was another perch, even with out the bait, they loved the red hooks, probably gonna bring the jiggin rod next time and if i get into the perch again see how many i can get before they scatter
