Title: CF Report
Post by: Fishwater on Feb 07, 2009, 09:06 AM
Just found this forum. Not a hardcore ice man, but do a little ice fishing from time to time. I went to Canyon Ferry 2 days ago and fished out from silos. 5 guys and 30 rods, fished from 8 am to 3pm, the black maribou with maggots was the money set up, we iced 24 trout and one perch. The trout were between 16 and 23 inches, all rainbows, three of which were a little dark. The perch took a night crawler and was a slab that was over a pound. We did zero jigging, and were catching most fish 6 to 9 feet deep.

Good ice. Plenty of trucks out on the ice.
