I'm gonna head up saturday and sunday, I will definetly post reports (hopefuly reports full of fish and ice!) a few ponds around my house have not only skimmed over but remained locked up for 2 days now. Im dying to get out, hopefuly theres ice, I'm aiming for some big pike and bass for the deep fry! gonna free line some big suckers and shiners. FLAAAAAAG!

I have a camp in the Canaan Vt, are we talking about Island Pond in Island Pond VT? IS there a winter ice fishing fishery.....sounds interesting

Yup...sure is. I used to ice-fish it for browns but I caught lots of walleye from the bait this year. Maybe worth an ice-fishing trip.
