Well... We do it every year so lets hear em? Whats your predictions for ice in? Im going to go Dec 19th

my first weekend will be december 15th in whitefield, nh.... last year i fished it december 20th and as we all know the weather sucked.......that's no prediction......that's a fact.........jinx..... .double jinx.

I was at stinson yesterday down at the boat ramp and there was 4in of snow but no ice to speak of on the lake. Dont think it will cool down for a little while, I am usually on the small cove there by mid December.

I'm fishing saturday, no question, if I have to kick in a hole on shore and jig for chubs......then god help me, I'm gonna kick im goin fishing haha.

I will definitely be on the ice Dec, 19th, I'm heading to the in laws in Wisconsin, they already have ice, and hopefully I will get my first Walleye. I hope to get out on the ice once before I head out there. Last season I traveled to Berlin to get on Jericho in Jan., a week later we found a lake that was much closer and had more species to fish. Hopefully we will be able to get on that lake in a few weeks. I just opened my new GPS a Lowrance iFinder Expedition C, and I am currently reading through the users manual, can wait to get out there and try it out. The Vex has been charged and maybe a new auger this weekend, I 'm heading to foxboro to Bass Pro.

what are you looking at for augers? i have the jiffy 10 inch 3 horse.....quite the cadillac........expens ive, but it can really cut a hole

I'm looking at a lighter auger, I currently own a Jiffy Model 30 10" auger. I am looking to get a Jiffy model 76 2HP engine with a 8" blade. I move a lot and drill a lot of holes and after 15 or so holes, it gets really heavy.

i think thats what pickeral boy........ has and he loves it. you are right.......drill and few holes and you are spent with the 3 horse. i just pull mine around in a black sled and shut it down after each hole i drill......makes it a bit easier to handle. its nice withthe atv, because there is no man power involved when it comes to moving it around

The way the weather has been hopefully it will be soon. I hoping by Dec 14th. I am going on vacation Dec. 14th and am hoping to be on the ice.
