Cedar Pond and Jericho Lake ice report 11-24-07

Cedar Pond is still completely open.  Very little ice patches around the shore in a few spots. 

Jericho lake is completely iced over and had about 1.5" of ice, measured twenty feet out. 

I will update next weekend.

Hey you know of any apartments up there for decent money? I can't find anything decent that is deal.  I might go look at one on the west side that is $460/mo + Heat.

The best way is to check the Berlin Daily Sun.  If you send me an address I will mail one to you unless you just want to look online.  There are some run-down places here so if you want email me the street of one that you find in the paper, I can check out the neighborhood.  Anyway, I will keep my eyes open.  Also, there are a few houses for rent on the Coulombe Realty website.

This just in!

George Dubya called and said that he just shut down all the roads that lead out of the state. Also. all air traffic has been grounded until ice out!

Still a couple of inches left in the open places, not much though.  Its been too cold for any melting.  Lost some on Thursday but thats all.

Yes the ATV park is still open, however I would wear blaze orange in these woods this time of the year.  Saw several ATV trailers parked at Jericho lake.  Dont think I would get out on Jericho next week just yet.  I think I'll wait for a solid 5"-6" of ice.  I am a big man and I float well but not in cold water.

apts in berlin check the out carefuly duck dr last year lots of fires berlin had a bad rap in the news last winter apts not up to code and not even legal to rent somme were even condemed gy fire dept

We got rain yesterday and warm temps the day before but very chilly the last two nights.  I will be checking Jerich and Cedar this weekend.  Expecting a foot of snow on Sunday-Monday.
