Title: Cedar Pond and Jericho Lake ice report 11-24-07
Post by: Chiefbush on Nov 24, 2007, 02:25 PM: Cedar Pond is still completely open. Very little ice patches around the shore in a few spots.

Jericho lake is completely iced over and had about 1.5" of ice, measured twenty feet out.

I will update next weekend.

There are some run-down places here so if you want email me the street of one that you find in the paper, I can check out the neighborhood. Anyway, I will keep my eyes open. Also, there are a few houses for rent on the Coulombe Realty website.

NEWS FLASH
This just in!

George Dubya called and said that he just shut down all the roads that lead out of the state. Also. all air traffic has been grounded until ice out!

I think it might be open year round.

I think I might be headed up Friday to look at some apts. I might bring some gear with me. Would anyone be in for a Saturday trip?

thanks for info-i've been wanting to get up there all year, but the twins keep me busy-i may try it this coming week-end, maybe after by diaper run to wal-mart.

Post by: Chiefbush on Nov 25, 2007, 02:59 PM: Yes the ATV park is still open, however I would wear blaze orange in these woods this time of the year. Saw several ATV trailers parked at Jericho lake. Dont think I would get out on Jericho next week just yet. I think I'll wait for a solid 5"-6" of ice. I am a big man and I float well but not in cold water.

i'm easily mistaken for a deer-due to my stealthiness
hope to get at least one ride in,went to Jericho last year and liked it, haven't ridden at all this year
