Here is one of my favorite childhood bars.
Line bottom of 13x9 pan with whole graham crackers. You will have to break a couple to fit along the edge.
Cook Together
3/4 C butter
1 C white sugar
1 C graham cracker crumbs
1/2 C milk
1 beaten egg
Cook until thick stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, and stir in 1 C flaked coconut.
Spread over top of graham crackers.
Spread another layer of graham crackers over the top of the filling.
Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
Let stand awhile before cutting. Cut into small bars as these are very rich.
