You will almost always catch lots of perch on Skegemog.

If you can catch any of decent size is always the challenge.

Some days are better than others  :)

Its really good first part of the season, then as the good sized fish are removed it can be more challenging to catch dinner.

Then over the Spring, Summer, and Fall, the smaller perch grow bigger and before you know it, its first ice again  ;D

You should catch plenty of fish, but you may have to work for fish of any size.

Of course,  last ice can be really good on almost any lake, but the ice conditions change so fast I don't fish it as much as I use to.

Good Luck All

I cannot speak for this one but many lakes north of M 55 have at least 16 to 20 inches of ice on them. One I know of has almost 28 inches
