Looks like some ice making weather coming up after next Thursday if the forecast holds. I’d like to get on Tyler and use the SnowDog machine. Did it last year. It was fun trying different areas of the lake and not having to walk to the spots.
-
How much does that snow dog weigh? Just out of curiosity.
-
Around 330 pounds. Mine is the 13.5 HP B13 model with reverse. There is a 10 HP model that weighs a little less and smaller dimensions.
-
Any luck getting on Tyler?
-
Oh yeah. No problem. Just driving the SnowDog all over the place. Lol. If that place doesn’t get good and solid first week of February with those temperatures that are predicted, then it’s not going to happen this year for Tyler. The forecast looks decent for ice but every time the forecast gets closer to the supposed ice making temps, the forecast changes to warmer weather so I don’t know. I’ve used it and have been fishing regularly but I’m doing a lot of driving. Just been fishing the Berks pretty much.

It's Feb 2nd 2023 I'm going absolutely nuts. Is there any Ice up at Highland Lake in Winsted or at East Twin in Salisbury. Used to live in New Hartford Now I'm in Ledyard it's a good 2hr drive to scout it. Any info is my friends and allies greatly appreciated.

No fishable ice anywhere near east twin.
-
Dont forget that Easy Twin is now restricted to 2 lines.

Thanks for the info Gentelman.
