I noticed the plastic sleeve was sitting flush in the nozzle on my tanks and I was able to push it down further (about 1/16″). I think this should help. Bought a fill kit and three tanks. All had this problem and lost the nylon and oring. Mr heater totally sucks at customer service and I have given up trying to get them to help. Dig the nylons and rings out of your old disposable tanks to replace the junk Mr heater ones that go missing.
