I’ve heard there were guys fishing out from the beach. I havnt been out myself yet. Wanted to get down there this week, but have been working late.

People seem to be pretty tight lipped about the ice there. I'm going this afternoon to check it out. Hopefully it is good for me and I don't waste the hour plus drive.

Last weekend there were people out from the fire lane on the east side. There was a shanty way out from the south end at the weeds. Quite a few out quite a ways from beach on the first break. Nobody at launch or academy bay. A lot of open water

5-6" off the boat launch. Fishing was slow.
