Eskimo Pistol Bit and maybe others
« on: Jan 19, 2022, 05:45 PM »
Just a word of caution, check the bolt that holds the driver to the auger. The pistol Bit uses an allen head bolt to secure the driver to the auger. Got to the lake today and the driver fell out of the auger. By dumb luck the bolt was laying on the ground and I happened to have a set of allen wrenches in the truck. Tightened the bolt and went fishing. Got home and checked the bolt only to find it was loose again. Going to put some Loctite on it before the next trip.
If you think your going to have a bad day you will seldom disappoint yourself!

Mine was loose too in the beginning this season causing wobbling auger.
