Across the border

Heading to a new pond with a friend yesterday that he was told to hold some crappie. It was a late start didn’t get first line in till 1045 he doesn’t like to get the first light bite but he was driving so had to deal with it. It was pretty steady fishing most of the day till we packed up at 515. All in all a great day with 26 crappie, 3 bass on the jig rod that was fun a couple pickerel and some jumbo perch. 17 kept and the rest released. Some small ones and two that were 15 inches that I let go to live another day. Wind wasn’t as bad as they said thank god we went yesterday and not today. Will definitely go back up for another trip
