You may not always agree with Dick but I want chime in and let you know the type of guy he is I have been someone who has watched the posts on shanty for years before posting. He posted for 2 manual downrigger, releases and balls for no cost on here. I live in southern NH but also have a second home near him in northern NH.  I have a 17’ Starcraft, he had a hardwood board that went across the stern of the boat with mounting brackets to manual downrigger, 4 balls, releases, and to rods and reels that he gave me at no cost.  Well over $400 of equipment at no cost   Thank you Dick

We can all only hope to still be hitting the hardwater at 80 like Dick is !

X2! Besides busting balls is just prep work for getting skunked. You gotta have a good time even when you’re not catching fish
