Peters creek at "the Big O" will have the thickest ice. I haven't been there this year yet. It's the shallow bay fed by Peters Creek. This place always gets early ice and people always find a way to get on until the bitter end. Scotts Run is probably similar to Hopewell with 4 inches.

I'm going to Towhee today, expecting to leave if it starts to melt.
I won't stay there alone on four inches of melting ice.  Will post later.
