I'm thinking 2weeks.....maybe.
-
I was done today. We get rain and 50 degree weather you all will be done in 1 week !
-
Nothing has changed here on the east end for me. Snow finally fully melted off the ice today some places and the top about 3 maybe 4" is white that keeps melting and refreezing. 12-15" of clear ice below it. Fish are on FIRE, best bite ive seen all year.

It all depends on how comfortable you are on thin ice. I know guys that are done now, just because it got a little warm. Didn't notice any loss of ice in central Iowa just snow melt today.. every place I've been has a different thickness and good ice to snow ice ratio. I will begin my slow migration Northwest to keep fishing. My bid; 3 weeks

fished 2 ponds on Saturday in Central Iowa. One had around 15" the other around 10". I won't be around for this coming weekend so we'll see how it is the following week. Hoping for one more week as I like ice fishing in warm weather!

i might get another week out of my pond - open water fishing has been very good though
-
Pony Creek had 12 inches on Sunday.

Nothing changed much over here. Fished yesterday and it all refroze, soft for the top probably 4" then a good 12" solid below it. I'm PROBABLY done for the year, just because I've caught plenty of fish and the sauger/walleye bite is good on the mighty Miss. Dont know, might go back out this weekend.

Johnson County: I think we'll be able to get on a lot of ice through this weekend. It's going to be warm, but no rain and plenty of ice still on the water.
If the forecast is right warmer temps and rain are coming Tuesday of next week. So five more days of safe ice max after today around IC.
