I've been a straight spike (maggot) fisherman for the last twenty five years or so...I got a gift from an inlaw of preserved waxworms....needless to say today I was using my spikes, my wife was using the preserved baits, and she was smoking my a....I had to try them...they are amazing...now, we primarily fish for craps, some gills, and perch, today was mostly craps, a few gills thrown in, and after about fifty fish on the preserved baits, I am gonna always have them with me...I checked cabelas to see just what they were, and cabelas does have them...they're called fishers choice...needless, I ordered what I could afford.....give em a try....
