Title: Cloudy or clear skies?

I'm curious as to what others have found to be more productive. Do perch seem to be more active on cloudy days or bulebird type days?

Depends....lots of snow, clear skies seems to be the ticket to more activities.  Bare ice, cloudy days seems to be better for me.  Lake and locations may or may not be affected.

Agree, actual light levels below the ice seem more important
