Good advice, for pretty much any ice, at any time.

All of the ice near here looks pretty sketchy. The weather isn't helping any. Be careful out there everybody. I want to read about all of you in the news because of record catches and nothing else.

Hoping the weather changes because my boat still needs a month or two off.
May the fish be with you.

I saw a full size pup on Caspian yesterday.

I measured 9" of ice on Caspian on Saturday, and there were 4 full-size pickups, a camper, several 4-wheelers and a couple of snowmobiles all parked in one small area out in the middle!  No way I'd drive a truck on 9" of ice, and I certainly wouldn't park all of the rigs in 1 spot.  Looks to be the same group in the same spot every year (humps at the north end of the lake).

Do you know where they went through?  Was it on the south end near the launch?  Hopefully the area is
marked somehow.  I'm concerned about snow covering dangerous spots.

Definition of a very bad day for sure. :(

Hopefully everybody inside made it to shore safely?
May the fish be with you.
