Decided to make one last trip to Carmi in 2016. When I got there, the place was pretty loaded with tip-ups. I didn't want to crowd anyone, so I moved off to one of my secondary locations. Bite was slow, but I still , managed a few fish. I think it was my location more than the fish activity. The perch I did find were pretty aggressive as well as the pike. Still not a bad way to end the year. 1/4oz Reel Bait Plane Jane firetiger jig, and 1/4oz Reel Bait pink/white Flasher Jig  with black/pink/pearl Mizmo Tracer tube were the hot lures for me today.
