Long Pond Milton- information request

Saw Long Pond on a map and was wondering if this is something that can be fished?  Any access?

I did do a search first and did not find anything on it, so I thought I would just ask if anyone has any experience ice fishing this pond.

I have never heard of any one fishing it. I might be interested in giving it a try but, access looks dificult. There must be some kind of fish in there. pout, maybe perch or sunnies.

Just looking for different spots to fish and this looked real interesting enough to inquire about it.  Might have to do some scouting around it to see what kind of access there might be. 

Will let you know what I find out.....maybe sunday I will take a ride over there.

Well i guess that saves a trip... how do you find out if a pond is private or not? this would be good to know for future reference.

There's no access to it. Plus there's a lot of "No Trespassing" signs all around the place.

OK, that will do it. I did not know if there was an online reference page or if its not on the VT fish and wildlife page its not fair game. some sort of rule of thumb for private ponds beside no tresspassing or posted signage... thanks for the info on long pond.

You could check town hall for property ownership and ask permission
