Any info on ice/fishing on nelson?

fish it over new years around 12 inch of ice. caught 8 northens 5 walleyes and 20 perch.  dumb fishing bud drove truck on ice we drove ATVs. nice weather on sunday and Monday.

fish sunday and Monday nice 7 pound walleye some 7 8 # northerns fair size perch.

How is the wind over this reservoir? I don't have a shelter and I looking to go there next weekend!.  Also, what you guys use as rig for Walleyes and Pike?

no big pike like the pic at the bar 27  30 pounders some day we wiil see a big one like that nice perch though
