I spoke to the owner of the Red Roof in the Adirondacks where I fished last year and he said sometimes fishing there in early Dec if cold but usually mid to end of Dec. I looked at the weather there and it's been in the 30's at night already. This is projected to be a colder winter but with a lot of snow.
